Rashford, 19, has already become a key part of both Manchester United and England’s squads since bursting onto the scene in early 2016.

The teenager scored on his debut for club and country and has already won four pieces of silverware as a player.

In an interview in the last few days, Rashford said his aim was to win everything with he can in his career.

Despite admitting that, especially the World Cup, is optimistic, Wright is impressed with Rashford’s attitude and has backed him to fulfil his dreams.

People will say ‘yeah, he’s not going to do it with England’ but if everybody can start having that same drive and vision, anything could happen

“He’s driven,” Wright said on ITV of Marcus Rashford.

“What he said there, Premier League, Champions League and World Cup.

“Some people might laugh and scoff at that but when you look at him and look at his dedication and drive, you wouldn’t put that past him.

"People will say ‘yeah, he’s not going to do it with England’ but if everybody can start having that same drive and vision, anything could happen. It’s great to see."

Former striker Wright says he would prefer to start seeing Rashford utilised as a main striker, rather than a winger.

“I would love to see him have a berth right up the centre," the Arsenal legend added.

“His pace, his movement, he’s got I think some of the best movement in the players we’ve got.”

Rashford has scored once in four games for Manchester United so far this season.
