Manchester United news: Red Devils' 25-man squad list confirmed

MANCHESTER UNITED have named their 25-man squad list for the 2017/18 season.

At the end of the transfer window, every Premier League club is required to submit a squad list of no more than 17 players who don’t fulfil the “Home Grown Player” criteria.

The remaining players in the 25-man squad must be home home grown.

Home grown players are those who “irrespective of his nationality or age, has been registered with any club affiliated to the Football Association or the Football Association of Wales for a period, continuous or not, of three entire seasons or 36 months before his 21st birthday (or the end of the season during which he turns 21)”.

However, Under-21 players are eligible over the limit of 25 players per squad.

Old Trafford hotshots Marcus Rashford, Axel Tuanzebe and Timothy Fosu-Mensah are included in the Under-21s list.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic also features after he signed a new one-year deal with Jose Mourinho's side.
