Carvalho slammed the Hammers joint-chairman over their conduct in the negotiations for midfielder William Carvalho.

The Sporting chief called on West Ham fans to demand “the truth”, saying: “Where is it? Proof? Now, approaches, for sure. I’ve had them for almost the whole squad: West Ham supporters call Mr. David Sullivan and his brother, the Dildo Brothers…

“These messengers, these offended virgins, the president of West Ham… We must tell the truth!”

Asked for his thoughts on the comments, Bilic admitted it made him laugh.

It’s funny. It made me laugh

Bilic said: “Which one? I read a few…Thought of coming with a lawyer today.

“It’s funny. It made me laugh.”

The Croatian also hit back at Sullivan, who claimed the West Ham boss turned down the chance to sign Grzegorz Krychowiak and Renato Sanches.

He said: “David Sullivan, he likes to talk.

“That is not exactly what happened.”
