Goals from Marouane Fellaini, Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford were enough to see off the Swiss side at Old Trafford.
The only negative for United boss Jose Mourinho was the hamstring injury suffered by star midfielder Paul Pogba.
Gerrard thinks the Frenchman will be out for a few weeks with the injury.

“Listen they are exciting going forward, of course they are.
“Another pleasing thing for Jose Mourinho is the clean sheet.
“Confidence in the likes of (Chris) Smalling and (Victor) Lindelof and Ashley Young’s performance was a positive tonight.
