Salah was a doubt for the match after missing training due to illness.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp sent Salah home in a bid to recover in time for their European opener at Anfield this evening.

And the Liverpool Echo say the Egyptian was given the all clear by the medical team.

It means Salah is likely to be named in the starting line-up alongside Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.

Salah has had an excellent start to the season following his £36.9million move from Roma this summer, with three goals in six games.

And his former team-mate Edin Dzeko admits Roma are missing the attacker.

He said: "I scored many goals last season but it will be a lot tougher this season.

"I think we miss (Francesco) Totti but we need Salah as well.

"He used to play close to me and it's all different now."
