Liverpool news: Rio Ferdinand says he would not want to play against the Reds

That is the opinion of Manchester United legend and pundit Rio Ferdinand.

Ferdinand was working for BT Sport for Liverpool’s Champions League opener against Sevilla last night.

The former England captain says he would not want to play against this current Reds team with their attacking prowess.

“Liverpool, we mentioned it before, tantalising going forward,” he said.

“Great, great options, (Sadio) Mane, (Mohamed) Salah, great pace, (Roberto) Firmino holding the ball and bringing other people into play.
