Gus Poyet: Chelsea are stronger than Arsenal

The duo have been regular starters for Arsenal so far this season in the Premier League.

They started in the 4-0 loss to Liverpool last month and received severe criticism from pundits for their performances.

And for that reason, Neville is shocked to see them feature today at Stamford Bridge.

He expects Chelsea to win comfortably because of that selection from Arsene Wenger.

Chelsea Arsenal: Sky Sports pundit Neville is amazed at Arsene Wenger's team selection

“There was an international break so that helped them because they weren’t playing!" Neville said on Sky Sports.

"They have responded, there is no doubt about that.

"What I would say is that I just saw Ramsey and Xhaka in midfield.

"They played at Anfield didn’t they. I’m amazed. I really am amazed, I expect Chelsea to bulldoze them.

Chelsea Arsenal: Gary Neville was not pleased to see Granit Xhaka and Aaron Ramsey in midfield

"I think if we are talking at the end of the day where Arsenal have surprised us then ‘oh great’, Arsene Wenger has stuck with those two.

"But at Anfield, those two were nothing short of shocking in that central midfield, had no idea how to play central midfield, how to defend, not running back, not protecting that back three and they’re back again today.

"So I expect the same result as I stand here now."

Neville's prediction did not come true in the first half, as Arsenal held Chelsea at 0-0.
