JOSE MOURINHO was delighted with his squad’s overall performance in the 4-1 win over Burton in Manchester United’s Carabao Cup third round tie tonight.

United, the reigning champions of the league cup, got their tournament campaign off to a flying start with a comfortable victory over Championship side Burton.

Marcus Rashford got on the scoresheet with two goals with Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial also getting in on the act.

They were unable to keep a clean sheet with Lloyd Dyer scrambling home a consolation goal in the dying minutes.

But Mourinho praised his side for their display and is enjoy watching United play at the moment.

"Professional performance, we played seriously, we gave them no chance,“ Mourinho said.

"Everybody is happy, no injuries and no cards. They lost with dignity and we won, which was our objective.

"Everyone is ready to play and wants to use the minutes on the pitch to improve.

"The team collectively enjoyed the game.

"Martial was good, Mata was good, Lingard was good.

"We look happy playing football at this moment, that's what I like."

United have been drawn away to Swansea in the fourth round with the game scheduled to take place on the week commencing October 23.
