Slaven Bilic tells the BBC he wanted more from the game.

"We are disappointed with the result. We started really well. We defended well, with shape and didn't give them pockets of space. Before the first goal we had lots of attacking opportunities but we didn't use it. Then we make a mistake and their finish was clinical. The first half was nowhere near 2-0,” he said.

"We came back and after the red card we pressed them. In the end we came to 3-2 but there wasn't enough. The game was very hectic with fouls and time wasting. We showed good pride to come back.

"When you play against the top teams, you give a little and from that little they create a chance and score.

"It was very even at 0-0. It is very hard to come back after 2-0."

Harry Kane reacts to his two goals at the London Stadium today.

"When you are 3-0 up and end up going 3-1 or 3-2 it is always nerve-wracking, especially with 10 men. But it is a great result," Kane said.

"I see stuff go round on social media (about his goalscoring) but I don't think it. I just want to score against every team. I am delighted to get a couple and help the team win.

"We know we have to improve our home form and we will be right up there. To get nine points from three away games is really good."

WEST HAM 2-3 TOTTENHAM

FT: West Ham battled to the very last minute, but it’s not been enough to salvage a point. Spurs return to winning ways thanks to a double from Harry Kane, and a Christian Eriksen third. Stay tuned for all the reaction.

94: FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT! Andy Carroll and Fernando Llorente go head-to-head and mayhem breaks out. We’ve got Javier Hernandez barking away while Winston Reid grabbed Llorente’s throat. Carroll and Reid are booked.

92: It’s all getting feisty now. Dele Alli and Pablo Zabaleta have a shoving match before Andre Ayew is booked for a late sliding tackle on Ben Davies.

91: Danger! West Ham have a corner. Andy Carroll rises like a salmon but he jumped too early and the ball flies high over the goal. Replays show that Sanchez gave him a little push in the back. Could easily have been a penalty.

FOUR MINUTES ADDED TIME

89: Close! The ball falls kindly for Winston Reid from a corner, but the defender drills it to the moon.

WEST HAM 2-3 TOTTENHAM - KOUYATE

86: What a header son, an absolute bullet header from Cheikhou Kouyate.

Substitute Arthur Masuaku tees up a beautiful cross for Kouyate, who rises highest to emphatically finish at the back post. We’re in for a nervy finish, lads!

87: Time is ticking away and West Ham aren’t really testing the Spurs defence. Harry Winks embarks on a solo run to the corner and wastes some precious seconds.

84: Javier Hernandez earns himself a booking despite winning the ball with a lunge on Dier. Tough call for Michael Oliver. Spurs regaining a bit of control after a frantic spell of West Ham pressure.

81: Javier Hernandez fizzes one after turning Sanchez in the area but it’s straight down Lloris’ throat. Dele Alli drives forward at the other end but he’s way too selfish and eventually loses possession.

79: It’s all hands on deck for Spurs now as West Ham go searching for a second. Andy Carroll goes for another spectacular but his half-volley flies wide. Kieran Trippier comes on for Moussa Sissoko.

76: Serge Aurier is the first Spurs player to be sent off in the Premier League since Vlad Chiriches vs Stoke in May 2015; 868 days ago.

West Ham v Tottenham: Express Sport brings you LIVE coverage from the London StadiumREUTERS

73: No idea what Serge Aurier was thinking there. Andy Carroll was about 40 yards from goal and going nowhere fast.

Couple of changes as Harry Winks replaces Christian Eriksen, while Arthur Masuaku comes on for Jose Fonte as Slaven Bilic changes formation.

70: SERGE AURIER SENT OFF! The Frenchman, described by Jamie Redknapp as a liability, has been given his marching orders for a second bookable offence.

Andy Carroll is smart to get his body in front of the Frenchman, who responds with a wild tackle from behind. Michael Oliver didn’t have much choice.

68: Incidentally, Harry Kane has hit the woodwork more often than any of the 19 other Premier League teams this season.

In other news, Javier Hernandez has tested Hugo Lloris with a glancing header, but it would needed to be pretty special to beat him from there.

WEST HAM 1-3 TOTTENHAM - HERNANDEZ

64: Maybe, just maybe. West Ham have pulled one back courtesy of Javier Hernandez, who’s finally broken his duck against Tottenham.

The Mexico star pounces on a Jose Fonte’s glancing header to head home from close range.

63: Woodwork! Harry Kane has now hit both posts in the space of five minutes. He beats Reid before Joe Hart tips the powerful effort against the post and away to safety.

61: Christian Eriksen has now surpassed Nicklas Bendtner as the outright top scoring Dane in Premier League history with 33.

WEST HAM 0-3 TOTTENHAM - ERIKSEN

60: That’s game, set and match folks. But it’s NOT a Harry Kane hat-trick.

The England striker slams a free-kick against the far post. Serge Aurier collects the rebound and squares it to Christian Eriksen, who slots it past Joe Hart with a clinical first-time finish.

58: Dele Alli takes a tumble, but Michael Oliver isn’t interested. Sissoko slipped the midfielder through and Collins clumsily sent him to the deck. I’ve seen them given.

54: I’m not being paid £6million to manage this Spurs team, but if I was, I’d bring Son on for Sissoko, who’s not really influencing anything. Bit of a passenger since the break.

51: Early test for Spurs as West Ham win a corner. Arnautovic lets them off the hook with a terrible set-piece. Need some better deliveries if they’re getting back into things here.

48: There’s not been any substitutions at the break, but I would expect to see Sakho and Ayew on at some point.

45: We’re back underway folks. I’ve just heard that Spurs have never won their opening three away Premier League games. I think that might be about to change.

HT: Jamie Redknapp has been analysing the match for Sky Sports, and has been less than impressed with Serge Aurier.

He said: "Aurier has been a liability for Spurs. Arnautovic has got after him and he’s looked very rash - he could have conceded two penalties. He’s been the only problem for Tottenham in an otherwise controlled performance."

HT: I’m feeling a bit sorry for Andy Carroll. He’s made a HUGE impact, but not the one he would have hoped for. He's given the ball away twice and both errors have resulted in a goal.

TWITTER ROUND-UP

Joe: Andy Carroll is a baffling player. Goes from beautifully weighted touches to stumbling newborn foal in the space of a few seconds.

Alan: Don't know why I'm having this strong feeling that West Ham match against Tottenham might just be the last for Slaven Bilic.

Rad: Arnautovic is not helping West,he lack winning drive and he is just too comfortable, should be bench when Lanzini comes back.

West Ham v Tottenham: Express Sport brings you LIVE coverage from the London StadiumREUTERS

HT: Well, that really did escalate quickly. After a very decent 30 minutes for West Ham, two goals in four minutes from Harry Kane have put the visitors in the driving seat.

44: Great recovery tackle. Pablo Zabaleta rolls back the years by keeping pace with Ben Davies before easing him off the ball.

41: It’s all gone downhill since the departure of Michail Antonio for Slaven Bilic’s side. Spurs are knocking it around without a care in the world now. Vital NOT to concede another before the break.

WEST HAM 0-2 TOTTENHAM - KANE

38: West Ham have capitulated. Jan Vertonghen takes ball off Andy Carroll and helps set up another Harry Kane goal.

Joe Hart is out quickly to block Dele Alli’s initial shot, before the ball falls kindly for Kane to slot into an empty net.

Harry Kane has now scored seven goals in his last six Premier League games against West Ham.

WEST HAM 0-1 TOTTENHAM - KANE

35: Did I say that things weren’t clicking for Harry Kane? Well, as usual, I’m completely wrong.

It’s a brilliant Tottenham goal that all began with a wayward Andy Carroll pass. Eriksen slips Alli through down the right flank, and his cross is headed home by a stretching Kane.

Eriksen, Alli and Kane show they can do in three touches what it takes Manchester City 52 to do. Devastating goal against run of play

32: Things aren’t clicking for Harry. Eriksen pulls the ball back to him just outside the penalty area and Reid is quickly there to block. Mark Noble and Moussa Sissoko then have some handbags over a pretty robust challenge from the West Ham midfielder. Neither are booked.

31: I’m not sure Sanchez has seen anyone like Andy Carroll before. The pair just collided in a 50/50 and the Colombian was left flat on his arse.

30: Bad news for Slaven Bilic. Michail Antonio looks like he’s pinged his hamstring. That’s a sad sight as he limps off to be replaced by Andy Carroll.

West Ham v Tottenham: Express Sport brings you LIVE coverage from the London StadiumGETTY

27: The lineman’s come to Harry Kane’s rescue. Aurier drills a cross across goal and the England international somehow sends it wide from a yard away. Makes sense, I made him my Fantasy Football captain…

25: Spurs really struggling to get going. Passing is a bit sloppy and West Ham are closing down all the space. Cresswell sends a long ball forward but Lloris is off his line quickly to clear.

21: Arnautovic is giving Aurier the run around. The former PSG star is caught out of  position again, but Arnautovic blazes it out of play.

18: Close! Aurier makes a pretty disastrous error to gift the ball to Arnautovic, but the right-back makes a superb last-ditch tackle to deny the Austrian.

15: Another corner for Spurs. Eriksen sends an outswinger that pings around the area before being cleared.

12: This is my first proper look at Davinson Sanchez today. I know it’s only been 12 minutes, but he looks confident alongside Alderweireld and Vertonghen.

Joe Hart tips Christian Eriksen’s deflected effort over the bar. It was looping in, so the touch was vital. The Dane swings the resulting corner into the box where Harry Kane’s heads it straight at the goalkeeper. Should have been the breakthrough.

9: Michael Oliver gives Serge Aurier a ticking off for pulling down Aaron Cresswell. Javier Hernandez reacts quickly by playing a one-two with Antonio before sending a 25-yard strike narrowly over the bar. West Ham growing in confidence here.

6: And that’s why Arnautovic is back in the starting XI. The Austrian leaves Aurier for dead before sending a decent cross across the six-yard box. Alderweireld was there to clear.

3: Tottenham bossing possession in the early stages. Easing their way into the match with some nice one and two-touch passes around the midfield. There’s a slight moment of panic as Dele Alli seizes on a loose pass, but his touch is too heavy.

WEST HAM 0-0 TOTTENHAM

1: We’re underway at the London Stadium. It’s a beautiful afternoon in the capital and the stands are absolutely packed. Good atmosphere building already.

12:28: We’re almost underway folks. Come on, let’s start Saturday with an absolute treat!

TWITTER ROUND-UP

Jack: Geoff Shreeves is absolutely intolerable. Pro footballers deserve every penny they earn having to talk to that tosser.

Jai: Big game for Moussa Sissoko and Eric Dier - need to dominate and not get wound up by Noble and co…

Martin: OMG! Sissoko is in the team. Again! Does he know where the bodies are? It's like playing with 10 men. Should play Winks.

12:20: West Ham must recall positive memories from previous encounters against Tottenham, according to Slaven Bilic.

The Hammers beat Spurs 1-0 at home last year and a win by the same score in May effectively ended the title hopes of Mauricio Pochettino's side.

Bilic, whose side have one win from five games, said his players had to repeat the patterns of play from their last clash when the two teams meet.

"Everyone involved talks for months (about those games) and we still remember the game in May and the one at Upton Park, so those are the patterns we want to repeat on Saturday," Bilic told the club's website.

"We ended their hopes of winning the league but it gives us no psychological advantage. But the advantage comes when you remember good memories and good patterns to repeat what we have actually already done against that team," he added.

12:15: Poor Alan. There’s a touch of the Ashley Cole’s about this picture with bezzie mates Jamie Redknapp and Teddy Sheringham getting on like a house on fire.

12:10: Time for some words of wisdom from ‘expert’ pundit Jamie Redknapp, who says Tottenham need to win today...

Thanks, Jamie.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side are currently fifth in the table but five points behind Manchester City and Manchester United who are level on points at the top.

And Redknapp is backing them to win again today to shorten the gap to two points.

“From Spurs’ point of view I don’t think it’s a fixture you want to lose. From a confidence point of view as well I think it’s important they put in a good performance,” Redknapp said on Sky Sports.

“Away from home seems to suit them more, obviously they’ve had their problems at Wembley as everybody knows. I think from Spurs’ point of view, you look at how strong City and United are.

“You don’t want to give them too much ground to catch up. They’re good sides, I think Spurs are a very good side and they will get better as the season goes on. Away from home they should get plenty of space here today, I do fancy Spurs.”

Hoodie: Looking forward to seeing West Ham get utterly overrun in midfield again…

Frank: I think Slaven Bilic can grind a result tonight. Even Pochettino wants that so he started Moussa Sissoko.

Stephen: Sacked off namby pamby West Ham vs Tottenham London Derby for the far more interesting Old Firm. Glasgow, don't let me down!

11:55: Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino treated the club to a steak dinner on Wednesday night.

I can barely get a cup of tea from mine!

Pochettino paid for a party of around 50, which included players, staff and Spurs chairman Daniel Levy, to eat at the Beast restaurant on London's Oxford Street, where the menu boasts steaks from Finland, Spain and Nebraska.

The 45-year-old plumped for the Spanish cut, which came in at £13 per 100g, as well as wine from his native Argentina. The most expensive dish, a 'Whole Norwegian King Crab' would have set him back £120 per kilogram.

11:50: Here’s some helpful (kind of) statistics if you’re still trying to perfect your accys this afternoon folks.

*Spurs can win their first three away games of a Premier League season for the first time.

*Harry Kane has scored five goals in his last five games against the Hammers.

*Tottenham are fifth and five points behind leaders Manchester City and United.

*West Ham are 17th and chasing back to back wins at the London Stadium.

*The Hammers have beaten Spurs 14 times in the Premier League, more than any other opponent.

11:40: Slaven Bilic has seen Mauricio Pochettino’s two changes, and raised him another. It’s three changes for West Ham today with Angelo Ogbonna returning to centre-back ahead of James Collins, while Mark Noble replaces the injured Pedro Obiang.

There’s also a surprise inclusion of Marko Arnautovic, who returns to the starting XI after serving his suspension. He’s in for Andy Carroll, who drops to the bench.

11:35: Right, let’s start with the visitors. Mauricio Pochettino has made two changes to the side who drew 0-0 with Swansea at Wembley last weekend. Ben Davies and Serge Aurier are preferred to Kieran Trippier and Son, who are named on the bench.

11:30: And here’s the starting XI’s folks…

West Ham XI: Hart, Fonte, Reid, Ogbonna, Zabaleta, Kouyate, Noble, Cresswell, Antonio, Hernandez, Arnautovic.

Subs: Carroll, Adrian, Sakho, Ayew, Byram, Masuaku, Rice.

Tottenham XI: Lloris, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Vertonghen, Aurier, Sissoko, Dier, Davies, Eriksen, Alli, Kane.

Subs: Trippier, Son, Vorm, Nkoudou, Llorente, Winks, Walker-Peters.

Referee: Michael Oliver

11:28: All the team news will be revealed shortly folks. If you haven’t set you Fantasy Football side, get it done! I’ll wait for you…

11:25: Quite a simple poll this afternoon. It’s simply: ‘Who will win the Premier League Golden Boot?’

Romelu Lukaku is leading the charge in the early stages, but I can see Harry Kane closing fast. Not many of you fancy Alvaro Morata though.

If you’d like to get in touch then you can comment at the bottom of the page, or find me on here. Please excuse the fact that I haven't tweeted since August 8...

11:20: Last season’s 1-0 win was probably West Ham’s best moment in the London Stadium. It was a special night.

Manuel Lanzini netted a 65th-minute winner under the lights on a balmy Friday evening to relieve the pressure that was mounting on Slaven Bilic.

But today could be a different proposition entirely.

Spurs will be without the pressure of it being a must-win, there’s no Lanzini and early kick-offs don’t generate quite the same atmosphere.

It’s a tough one to call.

11:15: Goooood morning folks, welcome to our LIVE coverage of West Ham vs Tottenham from the London Stadium.

How’s everyone feeling this morning? I went to a cocktail bar last night. You know the kind; dim lighting, hipster staff and drinks that only Richard Branson can afford.

As you can imagine, I left penniless and with a stinking hangover that could quite literally kill a heard of Wildebeest.

Let’s hope today’s Premier League action will provide the perfect antidote to several Mojito’s and a couple of White Russian’s…

WEST HAM TEAM NEWS
