Marcus Rashford not as good as Ousmane Dembele and Kylian Mbappe yet, says Danny Higginbotham

Rashford has enjoyed an impressive start to the season, scoring five goals and providing two assists in his eight outings so far.

But Sky Sports pundit Higginbotham reckons the 19-year-old is not yet at the levels of French sensations Dembele and Mbappe.

Higginbotham explained on Sky Sports News, saying: "Not yet, not yet, not at the moment.

"I think he’s got the potential to be one of the greats, but I would say that Dembele and Mbappe are ahead of him at the moment."

But Higginbotham has talked up Rashford’s versatility, with the England international able to play centrally as well as out on the flanks.

He added: "I think it’s difficult because everyone talks about Rashford being a centre-forward and he is.

“He played against Burton in mid-week and was very good - albeit, okay, people could say it was against Burton.

"But if he plays in the wide position on the left-hand side he can still come and drive in and be that second centre-forward so to speak.

“So he’s comfortable in either of the positions I believe."
