Wenger confident of Sanchez commitment this season

That is the view of former Newcastle and England midfielder and pundit Joey Barton.

Sanchez looks likely to be playing his fourth and final season at Arsenal, with his contract expiring next June.

The Chile star wanted to leave in the summer and came close to joining Manchester City on transfer deadline day.

However, Arsenal failed to sign a replacement, Monaco’s Thomas Lemar, so Sanchez was forced to stay.
