Chelsea left it very late to secure a last-gasp 2-1 win away to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League this evening.

After falling behind to an Antoine Griezmann spot-kick in the 40th minute, the Blues dragged themselves back into the game and they were on level terms in the 59th minute when Morata deftly flicked home Hazard’s cross.

Substitute Batshuayi, who replaced Morata in the 82nd minute, scored with the last kick of the game when he tapped home Marcos Alonso’s delivery.

And Hazard wasn’t just pleased with the result, he was also very happy with his Morata and Batshuayi for coming up with the goods.

He said: “We are very happy. It was a tough game against one of the biggest teams in Europe. We deserved to win the game.

"We are playing very well. We have quality in the team and we want to win every game. It was not easy today but we did it.

"Atletico Madrid defend well and both teams are strong at blocking the attackers.
