PAUL POGBA appears to be stepping up his recovery from his hamstring injury.

Pogba, 24, suffered the setback during Manchester United’s opening Champions League group game against Basel in September. 

And it has been reported that the France international could face a further six weeks on the sidelines, with Jose Mourinho insisting the injury was "long-term". 

But Pogba has offered a positive update on his rehabilitation by uploading a clip from his Instagram of him completing ‘Bruce Lee style’ exercises at ’s Carrington training base. 

Last week, Mourinho said: "His injury is not one that I can have the hope like I can have with others.

And Nemanja Matic is confident United can cope without the former Juventus man.

“We know that he [Pogba] will be out for some time. He’s very important for us, he’s a great player, but I am sure that he will be ready soon," he said.

“I am sure that he will recover well and he will be ready for this season to help us and to score many goals.

“Everyone knows that Paul is very important for Manchester United, but we also have great players to play instead of him."
