The Arsenal ace played 90 minutes against Brighton on Sunday and reported for international duty with a knock which kept him from training on Tuesday.

But, according to South American publication La Tercera, he has trained as usual today.

Chile face Ecuador in the early hours of tomorrow morning and then Brazil on October 11 as they try and keep their World Cup hopes alive.

Chile are sixth in the South American qualifying with two games to play.

They are only four points behind Uruguay in second place so three points against Ecuador would be massive ahead of the Brazil game.

Only the top four teams are guaranteed a place in Russia next summer with the fifth team facing a play off against New Zealand after they won the Oceanic section.

Sanchez has had a strange start to the season after a failed deadline day move to Manchester City.

Arsenal had agreed to sell the 28-year-old on the understanding they were getting Thomas Lemar from Monaco.

But Lemar rejected the move forcing Arsenal to stop Sanchez leaving.

He has just 12 months left on his contract and is expected to leave either in January or next summer.

Sanchez has started three times in the Premier League, coming off the bench twice, and is yet to score.

He did score in the Europa League against Cologne in the 3-1 win.

Sanchez was given time off at the start of the season after playing in the Confederations Cup and then picked up an injury when with Chile.

He was desperate to leave the club in the summer with Manchester City close to a deal to reunite him with Pep Guardiola.

Sanchez also had interest from PSG and Bayern Munich.
