England player ratings against Slovenia: Rashford fluffs lines as Kane strikes late

Harry Kane scored the winning goal and secured qualification to the 2018 World Cup as England edged past Slovenia at Wembley.

The Tottenham frontman latched on to Kyle Walker's whipped delivery and bundled a finish past Jan Oblak.

Previously Marcus Rashford had the best chance to break the deadlock at Wembley, but opted for an audacious chip when one-on-one with Oblak.

Raheem Sterling saw a shot cleared off the line by Slovenia captain Bostjan Cesar, while Joe Hart saved bravely from Tim Matavz late on.
