Javier Hernandez insists he is happy at West Ham

Hernandez only joined West Ham in the summer from Bayer Leverkusen, costing the Hammers £16million.

The Mexico international has had a slow start to life at the London Stadium, scoring just three goals in West Ham’s poor start to the campaign.

Reports surfaced this weekend that Hernandez has already set his sights on leaving West Ham, with Spanish outlet Don Balon claiming the wants a move to either Sevilla or Valencia in January.

But the 29-year-old insists he is happy at West Ham.

The former Manchester United striker posted on Twitter: "That’s a lie! I’m very happy at West Ham!! Come on you Irons!"

West Ham sit 15th in the Premier League on seven points from their opening seven games.

But West Ham manager Slaven Bilic believes his side’s firepower should be feared with all his attacking options now available.

“With Manuel [Lanzini] back we have all our attacking options and that wasn’t the case a few weeks ago,” Bilic said.

“We have the players that we wanted in our team.

“Other teams should now be afraid of us and worrying about how to stop us. They should be thinking how they are going to cope with our awesome front players.”
