ENGLAND boss Gareth Southgate has made seven changes to his starting XI to face Lithuania, handing debuts to Harry Maguire and Harry Winks.

Southgate has also decided to try a 3-4-2-1 formation for the final game of the World Cup qualifiers.

Jack Butland starts in goal with Joe Hart dropping out of the squad. Michael Keane and debutant Harry Maguire will play in a back three with John Stones.

Tottenham’s Harry Winks also makes his debut in central midfield with Jordan Henderson. Aaron Cresswell and Kieron Trippier are the wing-backs.

Dele Alli returns after suspension and joins Marcus Rashford in providing attacking support to captain Harry Kane.

The average age of this England XI is just 23.7.
