ROBERTO FIRMINO insists “nothing is ever perfect” for him after reaching his 100-game milestone at Liverpool.

Firmino, 26, brought up his century of appearances for Liverpool in the 1-1 Champions League draw against Spartak Moscow last month.

He has enjoyed a good start to the season, scoring four goals in all competitions and providing three assists.

But after reaching the milestone, he admitted that he has a lot more to offer at Anfield.

Reflecting on his performances in his first 100 Liverpool games, he said: “I am pretty content because I am a person who demands a lot of himself; I always want more and nothing is ever ‘perfect’ for me.

“It’s great but it could be better. That’s always my kind of thinking – to keep wanting more.”

The Brazil international, who signed for Liverpool from Hoffenheim in 2015, went onto express his delight at signing for the Anfield outfit.

He also holds high hopes for the next 100 games he plays for the Reds as he wants the club to “win as many trophies as possible”.

Firmino added: “It’s great for me. Ever since I received the proposal to come to Liverpool, I’ve been very happy. I never thought twice about coming to Liverpool.

“I am very happy here at Liverpool, it’s a very good club, at a very high level, a big club. I enjoy playing here and I am pretty happy to have reached my 100th game.

“I hope I can get another 100 games for Liverpool and to achieve a lot of good things; to win as many trophies as possible and achieve success.”

Firmino is reportedly in line for a contract extension at Liverpool alongside Ben Woodburn.

He is currently contracted to the club until the summer of 2020.
