Man Utd News: Juan Mata sends warning to Liverpool and discusses Marouane Fellaini

MANCHESTER UNITED star Juan Mata has warned Liverpool that the Red Devils are in a ruthless mood ahead of their Premier League clash.

Mata: Manchester United's perfect start is just the beginning

Manchester United are readying themselves for Saturday’s clash against Liverpool at Anfield.

The Red Devils will travel to Merseyside aiming to continue their fine start to the season, in which they have won six of their first seven Premier League games.

However, they will do so without the presence of the towering Marouane Fellaini, who picked up a knee injury and is expected to be sidelined for up to a month.

And Mata has admitted he will be a big loss, and also issued a rallying cry ahead of Manchester United’s trip to Liverpool.

“Obviously, we also have to talk about our next Premier League game, in Anfield,” he wrote on One Hour Behind

“This is one of the big games of the season without a doubt.

“There’s no need to say what it means for us and for our fans, and I hope that we can play a great game and take the three points to Manchester.

“We will try to extend our good run of results since the season started.

“I also hope that none of my team-mates has physical problems in the second game with the national teams as it was the case with Fellaini, to whom I wish a speedy recovery.”

Man Utd News: Marouane Fellaini will miss the Liverpool game through injury

Mata has fond memories of previous clashes between United and Liverpool.

The Spain international bagged a memorable brace as the Red Devils put the Reds to the sword in 2015.

However, United will be hoping to fare better than they did last season.

Both games between the two teams ended in draws, 0-0 at Anfield and 1-1 at Old Trafford.
