Sadio Mane has been ruled out for six weeks with a hamstring injury
Mane, who has been in great form so far this season, has been ruled out for up to six weeks after suffering an injury on international duty.
It comes just days ahead of Liverpool’s clash with Manchester United.
Mane has scored three in five so far this season after sitting out for three matches for the red card against Manchester City.
But he faces more time on the sidelines.
“It has now been confirmed that he picked up an injury during that fixture that could keep him out of action for up to six weeks,” Liverpool said in a statement.
And Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to slam the international break.
“International break is the f***ing worst,” @lorenzi95 said.
