Man Utd news: Daley Blind wanted by Galatasaray in January, he could sign pre-contract

DALEY BLIND is reportedly attracting interest from Galatasaray.

Daley Blind is sad that Paul Pogba is injured

Blind, 27, has less than 10 months remaining on his current contract at Manchester United and is yet to open talks over an extension.

The Netherlands international has predominately been used at left-back by Jose Mourinho this season, starting the opening four Premier League games.

But he has since been demoted to the bench following the impressive form of Ashley Young.

Blind has never really been able to nail down a concrete position in Mourinho’s starting XI since signing from Ajax in 2014.

Galatasaray are interested in signing Manchester United ace Daley Blind in January

And Turkish outlet Fanatik claim Galatasaray are now ready to swoop for the versatile star.

It is said the Turkish side are keen on bringing him to the club when the transfer window reopens in the New Year, but they will have to pay a premium for him.

However, he could agree to signing in the summer on a free transfer and go as far as penning a pre-contract agreement in January.

Galatasaray are also apparently interested in signing Juventus left-back Kwadwo Asamoah.

The Istanbul side, who are five points clear at the top of the Super Lig table, are supposedly unhappy with Iasmin Latovlevici and Martin Linnes and have eyed both Blind as Asamoah as alternative options.

Up next for Blind’s United is a Premier League clash with fierce rivals Liverpool on Saturday at Anfield (12:30pm).
