Pirlo coaching role

18.05: Andrea Pirlo has ruled out a move to Chelsea as a coach following his retirement with New York City in December.

The Italian has been tipped to join the Stamford Bridge coaching staff but has insisted this is not the case.

“No I won't. I need to rest," he told the Daily Mail.

“I will go back to Italy, have a break and spend time with my family and friends. 

“I will Take some time to think about what to do next.”

Ancelotti to return?

12:45: Carlo Ancelotti returning to Chelsea is not out of the question.

The 58-year-old is currently unemployed after being axed by Bayern Munich.

And, should Conte leave Chelsea, then the Italian will have no issue about returning to Stamford Bridge.

That information comes from The Sun, who add that he could also end up at Liverpool or Arsenal. 

Milan not in for Conte

11.30: AC Milan insists they are not trying to poach Antonio Conte form Chelsea.

Conte has been linked with a return to Italy after reports of home sickness in London.

Conte has also claimed he wants to return to Italy eventually.

And Milan are on the the destinations touted as a possibility.

But AC Milan director of football Massimiliano Mirabelli said: "We already have a manager and we are not thinking of Conte nor about other managers."

Chelsea eye United keeper

11.15: Chelsea are among the clubs keen on Manchester United youngster Dean Henderson, according to the Mirror.

Henderson is out of contract in the summer and 14 clubs are monitoring his situation.

The England under-21 stopper is on loan at Shrewsbury and has impressed in League One.

Conte wants Ghana star

11.00: Richmond Boakye is on Chelsea’s radar and they will send scouts to watch him action against Arsenal next week.

The 24-year-old striker has impressed for Red Star Belgrade and knows Antonio Conte from a brief spell at Juventus.

And the Daily Mail claim the Italian is keen on a reunion with the Ghana star.
