Jose Mourinho is wanted by PSG for the summer

Mourinho has been noncommittal on his future this week after hinting at a move to PSG in an interview with a French magazine.

And the Sun claim PSG will make their move for Mourinho having failed to land him in 2016.

And it is reported that PSG believe, having appointed sporting director Antero Henrique who worked with Mourinho at Porto in the summer, that they have the key to getting him.

Earlier in the week Mourinho said Paris have something special.

“I am still a coach with concerns, with ambitions and with the desire to do new things. I am sure that I will not finish my career here [at United],” he said.

I don't think I'm going to end my career at Manchester United

“My son, who lives in London, went to Paris to watch a Paris Saint-Germain match instead of Manchester. Why Paris? Because they have something special. Magic, quality and youth. It is fantastic.”

But he tried to deflect contract talk ahead of Manchester United’s Champions League match with Benfica.

"I have my contract that ends in May/June 2019, we are in October 2017, so I don't know what to say,” he said.

"One day you say I am going to sign a five year contract and the next day you say I am going to leave.

"The only thing that I said and is true and there was not misinterpretation of my words is I am not going to end my career at Manchester United.

"I ask how is it possible in modern football that a manager is going to last 15 or 20 years, I think Wenger is the last one, it is impossible for us, to last for so long.

Jose Mourinho has taken Manchester United back to the Champions League

"If in this moment I want to finish my career in four or five years my ambition would be to end my career at Manchester United."

And Mourinho, who has won the EFL Cup and Europa League since arriving at Old Trafford, believes he could remain in management for another 15 years.

He said: "I think I'm going to be here 15 years minimum in the job and I think it's impossible to stay 17 years in the same club even if you want, even if you try.

“I think Arsene Wenger will be the last one to do that, that was my answer.

“I don't think I'm going to end my career at Manchester United.

“I didn't think about signing a new contract, but I don't think about leaving too.”

But the Manchester Evening News claim Mourinho has sent a private message to the club insisting he has no problem chief executive Ed Woodward.
