Chelsea news: Drinkwater and Luiz snapped in training as Blues prepare for Watford clash

DANNY DRINKWATER has returned to training as Chelsea prepare to face Watford tomorrow (12.30pm).

Drinkwater has yet to make an appearance in a Chelsea shirt since joining the Premier League champions from Leicester.

The midfielder picked up a calf injury in September and has kept him on the sidelines adding to Antonio Conte’s frustrations.

But Drinkwater’s return to training will be a boost to Conte as Chelsea look to bounce back from their disappointing defeat to Crystal Palace last week.

However, injuries are still a concern for the Blues boss with Victor Moses and N’Golo Kante still in the treatment room.

And Tiemoue Bakayoko and David Luiz both picked up knocks during Chelsea’s midweek Champions League game with Roma.

Frenchman Bakayoko was absent from training on Friday but Luiz did feature, however the defender is expected to undergo a late fitness test on Saturday.
