Chelsea news: Alvaro Morata has not been the Blues' player of the season, says Kamara
That is the view of Sky Sports pundit and former Brentford midfielder Chris Kamara.
Kamara instead feels defender Cesar Azpilicueta has been the stand-out man for Chelsea.
Morata joined from Real Madrid for a fee that could rise to £70million in the summer.
The Spaniard has netted seven goals already for his new side but Kamara believes his countryman Azpilicueta has been even better for Antonio Conte this term.

Azpilicueta has started every single Premier League game this season and scored a vital goal in the 4-2 win over Watford at Stamford Bridge yesterday.
“Chelsea fans might say Morata is their player of the season so far,” Kamara said.
“I’m going with Azpilicueta.
"The reason why I am going with him is because he plays everywhere in the three central defensive positions.

“He plays the right wing-back position, he started the game (against Watford) in the right wing-back position.
"But (Marcos) Alonso went off and he ended up on the left wing in that wing-back position.
“And he makes this (goal), he gets a bit of luck don’t get me wrong, but the important goals that he’s got already this season himself and the goals that he’s made for Morata, I think he’s an unsung hero.”
