How is your Premier League team performing compared to last season?

Manchester City are five points clear at the top of the Premier League after their win over Burnley this weekend.

Rivals slipped off the pace after defeat at Huddersfield Town, but Jose Mourinho’s men are still enjoying a better start to the season than last year.

Taking into account their sluggish opening to the 2016/17 campaign, United have actually improved more than league leaders City, although Pep Guardiola’s men were also top of the table a year ago.

Elsewhere, Arsenal and Liverpool are struggling to replicate their previous form while Newcastle United are having a blinder compared to their doomed 2015/16 season.

(Newcastle's point comparison is based on the 2015/16 campaign, while Huddersfield and Brighton are playing in Premier League for the first time and won't be judged.)
