TOTTENHAM’s 4-1 win over Liverpool yesterday has made it a three-horse race for the Premier League title.

Sky Sports pundit Pearce says Tottenham have joined Man City and Man Utd in the title race

Those are the thoughts of Sky Sports pundit and former England defender Stuart Pearce.

Tottenham are now level on points with second-placed Manchester United following their demolition of Jurgen Klopp’s side at Wembley.

The pair are five points adrift of Manchester City, who are unbeaten after nine games this season.

Pearce says Spurs look to be unstoppable at the moment but believes injury problems could affect that down the line.

If Harry Kane’s not fit on Saturday, you might fancy United a bit more than Tottenham

“I think from a two-horse race it has become a three-horse race now, I really do,” Pearce said.

Tottenham look like the unstoppable side.

“The only thing that will curtail that is the odd injury somewhere.”

That injury could be to star man Harry Kane, who hobbled off late on at Wembley yesterday.

But Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino played down fears of a long-term problem for his talisman.

Tottenham head to Old Trafford to face Jose Mourinho's side on Saturday (12.30pm).

Pearce says he will back Manchester United to win if Kane is not available for the clash.

“If Harry Kane’s not fit on Saturday, you might fancy United a bit more than Tottenham’s chances. Who knows?” he concluded.
