Huddersfield shocked the Premier League by beating Manchester United 2-1 at the John Smith’s Stadium.

Goals from Aaron Mooy and Laurent Depoitre were enough to condemn Mourinho’s side to their first league defeat of the season, with Marcus Rashford’s strike merely a consolation.

Mourinho has turned to youth and rotated his side for the Carabao Cup clash against Swansea tonight.

He handed starts to teenager Axel Tuanzebe and 20-year-old Scott McTominay.

But despite resting many of the players who lost on Saturday, the Portuguese was expecting a reaction this evening from Manchester United.

"Everybody was upset after the Huddersfield match and that is the perfect reaction to such a bad defeat," Jose Mourinho told Sky Sports.

“The next match is another match and you have to try and not commit the same mistakes.

"The mistakes was attitude and our approach to the game.

“I am expecting the team to give a good answer.

"We made a lot of changes in the team and it is a good opportunity for the two young kids (Tuanzebe and McTominay)."
