Huddersfield Town sent shockwaves across the Premier League when they beat United 2-1 at the weekend.

And good fortune must have been in the Yorkshire air that afternoon as young Terriers supporter Adam Bhana found £5 on the floor of the John Smith’s Stadium.

But instead of putting the money straight into his pocket, he wrote a letter to Town director Sean Jarvis asking him to give the money to his hero.

Former Manchester City midfielder Mooy, who cost an initial £8million in the summer, netted the opening goal on the 28th minute.

And young Adam wanted the money to be passed on to the goalscorer.

“Dear Sean,” the letter reads.

“I was at the Huddersfield against Manchester United match.

“I found a £5 note at the stadium and gave it to dad because you cannot keep what is not yours.

“Can you please ask Mr Wagner, (Town’s head coach), if Aaron Mooy can keep the money because he played very well and scored yesterday.
