Arsenal news: Arsene Wenger refusing to budge on Alexis Sanchez transfer fee

ARSENAL will reportedly demand a £30million fee should anyone come in to sign Alexis Sanchez in January.

Sanchez is expected to leave Arsenal before the end of the season with no plans in place to extend his contract.

Manchester City couldn’t strike a deal with Arsenal in the summer due to a lack of time to bring in a replacement.

But they are reportedly more open to listening to offers in the New Year.

City offered £50m for the Chile international in the closing stages of the transfer window but they reportedly only want to pay £20m in two months time.

However, The Sun claim Arsenal will not accept any bid below £30m.

A City source said: “Arsenal are not blinking yet on Alexis. We will only pay £20m for him in January.

“Arsenal are still sending the message that they want over £30m. Something has to give either way.
