Zlatan Ibrahimovic: Manchester United ace discusses return, provides ANOTHER classic quote

MANCHESTER UNITED star Zlatan Ibrahimovic is back to win the Premier League title.

Many thought they had seen the last of Ibrahimovic in a Manchester United shirt when he injured his knee against Anderlecht back in April.

But, having wowed club medics with his powers of recovery, Ibrahimovic penned a contract extension in August mere months after becoming a free agent.

The 36-year-old insists he is back to win the title, with the trophy having evaded him last term.

“I said I have come back to finish what I started,” the Manchester United striker told Arsenal legend Thierry Henry on Sky Sports.

“Everything I built up in the first season - obviously we won the three trophies - the ending for me was not the ending I wanted, or nobody wanted, especially after how the season went.

“The target is the Premier League. That is my target to finish.

“Everything I started in the first season, we will finish in the second one.”

And, in true Zlatan fashion, he also said he could walk on water - if he wanted to, that is.

“In the last years, when you're thinking how many more years you are going to play, that is where you are hesitating,” he said.

“But the injury made it easy for me. I had one target, and that is to come back and play the game.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been out of action for Manchester United since April

“I will walk out just as I came in, I will not walk out limping.

“I will walk out the way I want to walk out. Even if I have to walk on water I will do that also.”

Ibrahimovic scored 28 goals for United last term.

And he is expected to be back before the end of the year, despite originally having been ruled out until 2018.
