Manchester United are aiming to return to winning ways after recent blips against Liverpool and Huddersfield.

And they will face a strong Tottenham team - even though Spurs will be without top scorer and talisman Harry Kane.

Jose Mourinho has opted to deploy a back three, with Eric Bailly, Phil Jones and Chris Smalling getting the nod.

Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young are at wing-back, with Ander Herrera and Nemanja Matic playing behind Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Marcus Rashford and Romelu Lukaku then start up top.

Tottenham, meanwhile, are aiming to continue their resergence after an initially sluggish start to the season.

There is room in the line-up for Eric Dier, who was on Mourinho's radar over the summer.

Dele Alli also starts with Son Heung-Min starting as their attacking spearhead.

Tottenham team: Lloris, Aurier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Davies, Dier, Winks, Sissoko, Eriksen, Dele, Son.
