The Italian outfit grabbed a point at Stamford Bridge in the reverse fixture two weeks ago in an entertaining 3-3 draw.

Eden Hazard rescued the Blues with a late equaliser to deny Roma a famous win after some questionable defending from the home side.

But his Belgian compatriot Nainggolan, who was key in Roma’s engine room, reckons they can take a massive step towards qualification to the knockout stage with a win.

He said: ”We must be cautious. We are playing at home, in front of our full capacity crowd. We have what it takes to win the game.

"If we win tomorrow, it would be a step forward to the knockout round. We take it game by game, our results are good. We must try and score more goals.

We must be cautious

Roma star Radja Nainggolan

"If you keep having narrow margin wins, you might concede a goal. We can still improve going forward but we are enjoying the moment.

"I don't know if it will be more or less difficult.

”They'll have more players available, they've been winning.

"We respect all teams especially Chelsea but we are aware of our means and work. We played a great game in London - we were close to winning it.”

Blues boss Antonio Conte had admitted he was keen on signing the 29-year-old last season.

When asked about the prospect of facing Conte and Chelsea again, Nainggolan said:  "I made my choice and I'm always focused. I will do my best. I never thought of hesitating for another minute so it doesn't matter if it's Chelsea or another team.

"It's always nice games against top teams. Like all professionals, I know how to prepare myself for these games. But I'm ready to give my best."

Chelsea are top of their group after seven points from three games whilst Roma lie in second with five points.

Atletico Madrid are without a win so far after their shock 0-0 draw with Qarabag, leaving them with just two points.
