LIVERPOOL have blocked Jurgen Klopp from commenting on death threats sent to Dejan Lovren’s family.

Earlier today, Lovren disclosed messages he had received on Instagram threatening the Croatian’s family.

In his press conference ahead of Wednesday’s night Champions League clash with Maribor, Klopp was asked by reporters for his thoughts on the situation.

But Liverpool’s press officer quickly intervened and said no questions will be answered about it.

Lovren shared a direct message he got which said: “I'm gonna murder ur family u Croatian p****."

The 28-year-old spoke out against it saying: "Horrible what kind of people we have."

He added: “I don’t mind when people talk s*** about me, it says more about them! But I can not ignore when my family is threatened. I just can’t and won’t accept that.

“Disgusting.”

Lovren picked up a thigh injury during the warm-up ahead of Saturday's 1-0 win over Huddersfield.

And Klopp is unsure if he and Philippe Coutinho will be fit enough to play against Maribor.

Klopp said: "Not 100% sure. If they will be okay for tomorrow night, I don't know in this moment."
