Chelsea vs Man Utd: Mourinho should change one thing for Blues tie, but he won’t - Savage

MANCHESTER UNITED boss Jose Mourinho needs to play a frightening attacking trio against Chelsea.

Jose Mourinho plays down spat with Antonio Conte

That’s the view of former Premier League footballer-turned-pundit Robbie Savage.

Jose Mourinho’s side have not been shy of goals this season - netting 23 from their opening 10 league matches.

Romelu Lukaku (10), Marcus Rashford (7) and Anthony Martial (6) have all delivered the goods in front of goal when it comes to getting points on the board for the Portuguese boss.

However, the trio have rarely started a match together with Martial and Rashford often being rotated.

Savage reckons a trip to Stamford Bridge would be the perfect time to unleash all three at Chelsea’s defence though.

One thing I would love to see Mourinho try – and there’s no chance he will attempt it at his old club Chelsea tomorrow – is to unleash Marcus Rashford, Romelu Lukaku and Anthony Martial as a front three

"One thing I would love to see Mourinho try – and there’s no chance he will attempt it at his old club Chelsea tomorrow – is to unleash Marcus Rashford, Romelu Lukaku and Anthony Martial as a front three,” Savage told the Mirror.

“Whatever the outcome, it wouldn’t be dull.”

Victory for United over Chelsea would close the gap on league leaders Manchester City depending on their result against Arsenal in the early kick-off on Sunday (2.15pm).

Antonio Conte’s side go into the match off the back of a 3-0 defeat to Roma in the Champions League.

United, meanwhile, moved a step closer to securing their spot in the Champions League knock-out stages after beating Benfica 2-0 last time out.
