New boss David Moyes is keen to bolster his attack as he looks to guide the Hammers away from the relegation zone.

And he feels Reds striker Ings can be just the man to help steady the ship.

The 25-year-old looks set to leave Anfield on loan when the transfer window reopens.

The forward has had a tough time with injuries since moving to Liverpool from Burnley.

Ings has only recently recovered from two knee operations.

And the Reds are hoping that a loan move to a fellow Premier League side will help the one-cap England international rediscover his best form.

The Sun are reporting that Moyes, who tried to sign Ings when he was manager of Real Sociedad, is keen on taking him to the London Stadium.

It is suggested that a six-month loan deal is perfect for the tight budget of the east London club.

Newcastle and Bournemouth are also rumoured to be interested, as are a host of Championship clubs.

But Jurgen Klopp's priority is to find his forward a top division outfit which will guarantee him game time.
