BBC Price of Football Study

22:22: Over 80 per cent of ticket prices in the Premier League have either been reduced or frozen for the 2017-18 season, the latest BBC Price of Football study has found.

Average season ticket prices across England's top flight are at their lowest levels since 2013, having dropped for a second successive year, with 82.5 per cent of all ticket prices in the division having fallen or remained the same.

Promoted Huddersfield offer the lowest-costing season tickets in the league at £100, while Arsenal are at the other end of that scale at £891, and the Gunners' most expensive season ticket is also unmatched at £1,768.50.

Eboue backs Wenger

19:10: Arsene Wenger deserves a chance to make Arsenal a force again, says Gunners cult hero Emmanuel Eboue.

“Arsene Wenger is like [Alex] Ferguson for Manchester United,” Eboue told DAZN.

“I understand the fans, the fans want trophies, not only the FA Cup, they want the league.

"I understand the fans because it's been a long time since Arsenal won the league. I understand the fans but they have to know also that it's not easy.”

Zaha tipped to excel

16:13:Wilfried Zaha would thrive under Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.

That's the verdict of former Crystal Palace striker Clinton Morrison.

"It will be disappointing if Palace lose him but if they get relegated, Wilfried Zaha is a Premier League player," Morrison told AskFans.

"Over the last year and a half, how his game has come on to a different level is unreal. He could probably add more goals to his game and I think going to work under someone like Arsene Wenger - he'd only become better.

"But I hope he doesn't leave. I hope Palace stay up and they can build the team around him. In the summer he signed a long-term contract and Crystal Palace is his club. He loves it."

Arsenal want Fellaini

12:50: Arsenal want to sign Marouane Fellaini for free at the end of the season.

Fellaini has rejected a new contract offer and is set to quit Manchester United when his deal expires this summer.

Several clubs in the Premier League and across Europe will join the chase for Fellaini's signature, including the Gunners. Inter Milan and Besiktas are also interested.

Lacazette praises Martial

11:00: Arsenal star Alexandre Lacazette has lauded Manchester United’s Anthony Martial for his fine assist in last night’s 2-2 draw with Germany.

“Very good, as it is in training,” when asked about his relationship with the United man and Kylian Mbappe.

“We get along well, they are quality players, so it’s easy to get along with these kind of players.

“The coach [Didier Deschamps] gave us the freedom to occupy the three areas offensively and defensively.

“He told us that he saw no problem in changing the initial situation.”

Arsenal to make Ozil offer

09.40: Arsenal will make Mesut Ozil another offer as they try to keep him beyond next summer.

Ozil is out contract in the summer and expected to leave Arsenal.

Manchester United are monitoring his situation with Jose Mourinho keen on bringing him to Old Trafford.

But the Mirror claim Arsenal will make a final offer to try and keep him.

How Arsenal could look with Fekir

09.10: The Gunners are understood to be in advanced talks with Lyon ace Nabil Fekir.

A move for Fekir could pave the way for Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez to leave the club.

But how could Fekir fit in at the Emirates?

Sterling interest

09.00: Arsenal will revive their interest in Raheem Sterling in January if Manchester City come back in for Alexis Sanchez.

City are expected to move for Sanchez again after failing to striker a deal in the summer.

However the Daily Mail claim Arsenal want Sterling included in any deal.

Sanchez will have just six months on his contract meaning Arsenal will have little bargaining power.

Sterling has out-performed Sanchez this season with seven Premier League goals helping City top the league.

Lemar deal dead

08.45: Arsenal have all but given up on a deal for Thomas Lemar and have begun looking at alternatives.

Arsenal tried to sign the Monaco ace in the summer but were rebuffed on deadline day.

And the Mirror claim they are looking elsewhere after links with Nabil Fakir.

Wenger keen on international job

08.30: Arsene Wenger has admitted he could be tempted into international management.

And the Arsenal boss hinted he would like to be in charge of a team at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

“Maybe yes, I will do it at some stage but until now I like to be involved every day in the life of a club, you know because the real test is there,” he said.

On the Qatar-based World Cup he said: “I believe that on the quality on the stadiums, the quality of the organization and the competition you have no doubt because they have the financial potential to do it well in Qatar.

“Certainly they will have their pride to propose special stadiums, special innovations and on that front I am convinced that they will surprise the world.”
