Both England and Uruguay lost their opening matches to Italy and Costa Rica respectively, making their clash essentially a knock-out match.

Suarez, who scored 31 Premier League goals last season for Liverpool, missed out on the first match due to injury, but will return to face the Three Lions.

And Mourinho believes the 27-year-old forward will cause problems for England's defence, especially his eye for earning a penalty.

"Suarez is a very important player for Uruguay. Uruguay had a very unexpected result in the first match, they are, as England, one defeat and goodbye," Mourinho said.

"Suarez is coming back from injury and for sure, he feels his country deeply, the South American that plays in Europe, that lives in Europe.

"When Suarez plays together with Cavani, the mobility, the understanding, the aggressiveness, the intensity is high and for sure it is going to create problems to the English side.

"Obviously, they know them very well, especially Suarez because he plays in this country, they know everything about him. They know his amazing qualities as a player.

"They know also that he can find a penalty where nobody else finds, but really I think Suarez is going to create problems for England.

"It’s a big match, that I wait a lot for because this is like a knock-out game, the one that loses is out. So, two good teams and big expectation really."
