Barcelona v Malaga Betting: Messi and Suarez to put winless visitors to the sword

Top faces bottom in La Liga this weekend as unbeaten leaders Barcelona welcome Malaga, the only side in the division yet to win a game, to the Camp Nou.

The Andalusians, however, are something of a bogey team for the Catalans and last season beat them 2-0 on the Costa Del Sol having drawn 0-0 in Catalonia.

The last six meetings between the sides have produced two draws and two wins apiece, so while Barca will be full of confidence ahead of Saturday's game, they will remember how tough things have been against Malaga in recent seasons.

However, Los Boquerones this term have been extremely disappointing and the defending in their 2-0 home defeat by Leganes last weekend was some of the poorest seen in the Spanish top flight.

Malaga recorded a 1-0 win at the Camp Nou in 2015 but their form this season would suggest a result like that is a long way off, and the visitors being offered at 33/1 (34.00) by dabblebet for the win only serves to drive that point home.

Barca. for their part, are priced at 1/16 (1.06) while a repeat of last season's draw is available at 11/1 (12.00). Dabblebet customers can watch and bet on this fixture via desktop, mobile and tablet. Your account must be funded or active in order to see the action live.

Naturally in such a one-sided market, it is a challenge to find an appealing angle from which to back Barcelona, and Malaga's form makes it even tougher; not only are the Andalusians the only team without a league win, they also have the dubious honour of being the only side in La Liga without an away goal.

Furthermore Malaga have the poorest defence in the Spanish top flight, and in the Blaugrana they face the most prolific side in the division who have also conceded the fewest goals.

Despite history pointing to a tough night for Barca, the statistics from this season suggest a straight-forward home win and Ernesto Valdverde's men are priced at 8/11 (1.73) to score over 3.5 goals. The Catalans have scored 16 times in their four home matches this season, and against a side with as many defensive deficiencies as Malaga, they should be able to rack up the goals once more.
