LEMAR PREFERS LIVERPOOL MOVE


Monaco star Thomas Lemar would prefer to join Liverpool rather than Arsenal in the January transfer window, reports The Independent.

Arsenal failed to complete a £90 million deal for Lemar in the summer and have been linked with a renewed approach in the New Year, with Chelsea also showing an interest in the winger.

Lemar has also been a long-term target for Liverpool and the Anfield club believe the player would accept a switch to Merseyside ahead of the Emirates Stadium.

SPURS PLOT AUDACIOUS SUAREZ MOVE

Tottenham are plotting an audacious move for Barcelona striker Luis Suarez, according to Don Balon.

Spurs believe Barca may be open to selling Suarez as they target Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann, with the north London outfit having already opened talks with Suarez's representatives.

But the former Liverpool striker is reluctant to leave Camp Nou despite the increased competition for a place in the starting XI.


MAN UNITED BATTLE REAL FOR HAZARD

Manchester United are prepared to battle Real Madrid for the signature of Eden Hazard, according to the Sun .

Hazard and United boss Jose Mourinho are old acquaintances at Chelsea, lifting the Premier League title together in 2014-15. 

And the newspaper claims United could bid up to £90million to seal a reunion for the pair next season. 


PSG MAKE DIARRA APPROACH

Paris Saint-Germain are in talks to sign former Chelsea and Real Madrid midfielder Lassana Diarra, according to  SFR Sport

Diarra is currently playing for Club World Cup semi-finalists Al Jazira in the UAE, but could be allowed to leave on a free transfer in January.

The 32-year-old’s experience, and availability for nothing, are an attractive proposition for PSG as they look to add depth to their squad.

Zinchenko joined City in 2016, but spent last season on loan at PSV before attracting interest from Napoli in the summer.

The Ukraine international has made three appearances for City this season, but could be allowed out on loan again in the New Year.


ATLETICO TO SELL GRIEZMANN TO MAN UNITED

Atletico Madrid are ready to offload Antoine Griezmann to Manchester United in order to avoid a move to rivals Barcelona, reports  Metro

The Liga club were moved to make an official complaint on what they see as an illegal approach from Camp Nou on their player. 

That bad blood could see United move into pole position for his signature, as relations between the two clubs have soured.

Theo Walcott will be offered the chance to kickstart his flagging career under former England boss Sam Allardyce at Everton, claims the Mirror .

The winger has fallen out of favour at Arsenal, featuring only on an intermittent basis this campaign.

Allardyce is set to take advantage by making a formal approach for Walcott's services in January.

Javier Mascherano's move to Hebei China Fortune is all but finalised after the club reached an agreement with Barcelona, reports Marca .

Barcelona will pick up around 10 million for the sale of the defender, who has seen his first-team opportunities limited this season. 

Mascherano, however, will not be allowed to leave until the second half of January, when Samuel Umtiti returns from injury.

And while Juve have long been linked with the player, Serie A table-toppers Napoli are rumoured to have joined the chase.

Manchester United are willing to offer Henrikh Mkhitaryan to Juventus as part of their bid to sign Alex Sandro, claims The Sun .

Reports have suggested that United will offer £60 million for Alex Sandro in an attempt to beat Chelsea to the signing of the Brazilian left-back.

However, the out-of-favour Mkhitaryan could also be used as a bargaining chip in a deal for Alex Sandro. Juventus, while interested in Mkhitaryan, would prefer to see reported Barcelona target Daley Blind included by United as part of any deal.
