Tottenham Hotspur v Real Madrid Betting: Ronaldo to add to Champions League tally with goals in London

Tottenham Hotspur welcome Real Madrid to Wembley Stadium on Wednesday night, with both sides knowing that a win will take them through to the Champions League Round of 16.

Sunday afternoon saw Cristiano Ronaldo once more fail to find the back on the net in La Liga, meaning Portuguese forward has scored just once in six appearances in the Spanish top flight this season; however, in European competition, Ronaldo has been firing on all cylinders and already has five goals to his name.

He currently shares top spot in the competition's scoring table with Harry Kane, who has impressed with five goals in three matches, but the striker is still a doubt after injury kept him out of his side's 1-0 loss at Manchester United on Saturday.

dabblebet offer Kane at 4/5 (1.80) to find the back of the net at Wembley and at 16/5 (4.20) to open the scoring, whilst Ronaldo is priced at 4/7 (1.57) to net and his scoring statistics in the Champions League this calendar year are quite extraordinary; indeed, Real Madrid's main man has scored in seven of his last eight matches in the tournament, netting a hugely impressive 15 goals in the process.

During that run, he has scored two or more goals on an impressive six occasions and the price of 11/4 (3.75) for him to do so once more must surely appeal.

Level with Ronaldo as Madrid's top scorer in all competitions this season is Marco Asensio, although whether the 21-year-old starts at Wembley is far from certain.

Asensio is yet to score in the Champions League this season, but can be backed at 11/5 (3.20) to do so against Spurs, while Isco who has seven goals for club and country this term and is offered at the same price.

For Spurs, they have Dele Alli back available after suspension and he is priced at 13/8 (2.63) to add to the three league goals he has already scored during the current campaign, while Christian Eriksen - who has also found the back of the net three times in the Premier League - is priced at 13/5 (3.60).
