WATCH: Can Dele Alli and Phil Jones continue their strong early cases on the road to Russia?

Collectively top spot is on the line, but individually there is a whole lot more.

On Monday night, England meet Slovakia at Wembley Stadium in a crunch affair that could decide who progresses from Group F of Europe's World Cup qualifiers.

Despite a 4-0 routine victory over Malta, the pressure is on the Three Lions to produce a performance befitting of their talent. There's also pressure on each and every player to secure their spot on the road to Russia.

Among the England stars, Dele Alli and Phil Jones have made strong starts this term.

The Tottenham man, who assisted Harry Kane's opener against Malta, has scored twice and created six chances in the opening weeks of the season, seeing him extend his lead as the top scoring Premier League midfielder this calendar year.

Fellow countryman Jones has started in equally impressive fashion.

Finally free of injuries, the United defender has quickly cemented his position in Jose Mourinho's XI with a string of standout performances at the back, playing every minute as the Red Devils have gone three straight games without conceding - only the sixth time in history they've done so to open a top-flight season.

Such form has seen Jones set an early season score of 89/100 on the Goal Pressure Index, presented by Sure and powered by Opta data, seeing him lead all England players in the definitive ranking system of players' ability to handle pressure.

Which of his England team-mates will follow suit?
