Arsenal host West Brom on Monday night as they look to build upon their encouraging draw at Chelsea two weekends ago.

Arsene Wenger will be without forward Danny Welbeck, who faces a month on the sidelines after sustaining a groin injury.

For the visitors, Nacer Chadli will undergo tests to see if he is fit to feature while Jake Livermore is back in the squad after being handed an extended rest.

Follow all of the live action below...

What time is it?

The game kicks off at 8pm on Monday 25 September at the Emirates Stadium.

Where can I watch it?

The match will be broadcast on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event. Coverage starts at 7pm.

It’s a big game for?

Gareth Barry. It’s a big occasion for the English veteran who is set to break Ryan Giggs’ all-time Premier League appearances. If he features tonight it will be his 663rd top-flight game – one more than the Welshman’s. Barry first made his debut in 1998 and since then he’s been a permanent fixture in the Premier League for the past 19 seasons, playing 30 or more games in 18 of those campaigns. Regardless of how this evening ends, it’s a night he’s unlikely to forget.

Player to watch?

Alexis Sanchez. The man who continues to make all the headlines, Sanchez will undoubtedly be Arsenal’s best hopes of unpicking a notoriously resilient and well-drilled West Brom side. He was introduced late into the game last week at Chelsea and brought a fresh sprinkling of vibrancy and energy to Arsenal’s play. If he starts today, the hope will be that he leads the front line from the off.

Head-to-head:

West Brom 3 Arsenal 1, Premier League, March 2017

Arsenal 1 West Brom 0, Premier League, December 2016

Arsenal 2 West Brom 0, Premier League, April 2016

Form:

Arsenal: WDWWL

West Brom: LDLDW

Odds:

The two teams will be with us shortly, and so wait to see if Kieran Gibbs will be making a quick return to the Emirates after leaving Arsenal last month. If selected by Tony Pulis, the left-back may want to put in a performance that has Arsene Wenger ruing some recent words.

Not only does Gareth Barry start for West Bromwich Albion tonight to make history as the Premier League's record appearance maker with 633 games, he also captains the Baggies for the first time.

As soon as Barry was announced as a starter at the Emirates tonight, the tributes began to pour in.

And the 36-year-old midfielder has been speaking prior to kick-off about how he feels ahead of Premier League match 633.

It’s a nice moment for myself and I’m very proud to have reached this number – but I’ll try to put that to the back of my mind and concentrate on winning a game of football. After the match, we can hopefully pick up a positive result and then look back on the night and be proud of it.

There are another 21 players to consider thought so let’s have a closer look at how the two teams line up…

...and Arsene Wenger has made two changes to the side that earnt a hard-fought point at Stamford Bridge eight days ago. Danny Welbeck is out with an injured groin while Alex Iwobi is nowhere to be seen despite a fine performance at Chelsea. The good news for Arsenal followers is the return of Alexis Sanchez, who starts his first home game of the season; the Chilean comes into the first XI along with midfielder Mohamed Elneny. Mesut Ozil is only fit enough for a place in the dugout where he takes a seat alongside Jack Wilshere.

The talk around the tunnel tonight is that Tony Pulis is planning to field a back-three as a manager for the first time in more than seven years. Craig Dawson, Ahmed Hegazi and Jonny Evans are the trio selected at centre-half with former Gunner, Kieran Gibbs, and Allan Nyom getting the nod at wing-back. Nyom is one of three players brought into the side along with Jake Livermore and Hal Robson-Kanu. James Morrison, Chris Brunt and Matt Phillips drop to the bench.

Arsenal: Cech, Mustafi, Koscielny, Monreal, Bellerin, Xhaka, Elneny, Kolasinac, Ramsey, Sanchez, Lacazette

Subs: Ospina, Mertesacker, Maitland-Niles, Wilshere, Ozil, Walcott, Giroud

West Brom: Foster, Dawson, Hegazi, Evans, Nyom, Krychowiak, Barry, Livermore, Gibbs, Robson-Kanu, Rodriguez

Subs: Myhill, Yacob, Morrison, Rondon, Brunt, Phillips, McClean

Referee: Robert Madley

It's not just a landmark occasion for Gareth Barry this evening. His manager enters the record books too.

We better not mention Tony Pulis' managerial record at the Emirates Stadium with Stoke and West Brom though.

Oh, what the heck! It's played nine, lost nine.

It may not be bubbling with the epic away followings of Arsenal's last two visitors - FC Koln and Doncaster Rovers - but the Emirates is starting to warm up nicely for an intriguing night of football.

A third win from three home games in the Premier League will elevate the Gunners up to seventh spot while a shock victory for Albion with move them on 11 points and level with the likes of Tottenham and Liverpool.

Kick-off is next.
