Everton stunned Merseyside rivals Liverpool as they scored a late penalty to draw 1-1 at Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp's side absolutely dominated the game and took the lead through the outstanding Mohamed Salah.

The Egyptian beat two defenders before lashing home a powerful shot past Jordan Pickford. It his already his 19th goal of the season.

Liverpool piled on the pressure in the second-half but were unable to add to their lead.

And Everton then picked up an unlikely point when Wayne Rooney scored a late penalty, after Dejan Lovren needlessly brought down Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the box.
