The Clarets midfielder latched on to a bouncing ball inside the Liverpool box, hopelessly dealt with by the home defence. First time, Arfield took aim and smashed a low drive into the bottom left corner of Simon Mignolet's goal, sparking frenzied celebrations in and in front of the away end.

Manchester City break the deadlock and there are no prizes for guessing who's responsible. Yes, it's Sergio Aguero with his fourth of the season. The on-fire forward was first to react as Kevin De Bruyne curled a free-kick into the box, and had time and space to head beyond Heurelho Gomes.
