Gareth Bale has wound up Spurs fans by wishing rivals Arsenal good luck in the FA Cup final.

The Real Madrid misfit, who was once idolised at White Hart Lane, posted a tweet to Aaron Ramsey and Theo Walcott wishing them well in today's Wembley final.

Club loyalty probably wasn't his motivation, given that he plays on the Welsh national team with Ramsey and came through the Southampton academy with Walcott, but that didn't stop Spurs fans getting pretty hysterical on Twitter.

Good luck for today lads in the #FACupFinal ! @theowalcott  @aaronramsey

Tottenham fans were naturally not impressed by the actions of the Welsh international, while the tweet led many Arsenal fans to speculate that he may join the club this summer.

"Gareth Bale to arsenal? Can we afford him? Do we need him?," posted one fan on Twitter.

"Ozil pass to bale.. Bale to Goal.. Heavenly.. #Arsenal," added another.
