Huddersfield star ready for Jamie Vardy threat when Terriers tackle Foxes

Summer signing Jorgensen helped his former club FC Copenhagen clip the striker's wings during two Champions League encounters last season.

And he hopes that experience will give him the edge at the John Smith's Stadium.

"You've really got to be sharp in your mind to not let him run away that one or two times, because that's basically all he needs," said the Denmark international, who is also known by the nickname 'Zanka'.

"Of course for me it's a little bit easier... I'm not going to say easier, that's the wrong word, but it's not going to be new to me having played him twice last year in the Champions League.

"You don't want to give him half an inch because if you do, he's gone and you're not going to catch him."

The Terriers will bid to bounce back from their first defeat of the season which came at West Ham, where a very different style of striker in bustling Andy Carroll introduced himself to Huddersfield's defence.

David Wagner's side lost 2-0 on Monday night, but they kept clean sheets in their first three Premier League games and Jorgensen said his central defensive partnership with Christopher Schindler will continue to improve.

"I think it's only going to get better from now on as I make my play fit in better with Christopher's and vice versa," he said.

"He's a really good defender. He's aggressive, good in the air, fairly fast and I think he's shown he's more than ready to play in the Premier League."

Jorgensen was asked whether German Schindler might be good enough to earn international recognition.

"He does have that international quality in his game," Jorgensen added.

"It's a very difficult national team squad to get into, but I think he's right there and at least now his name of course is getting bigger, in Germany as well."

The Terriers will be without playmaker Kasey Palmer against Leicester due to a recurrence of a serious hamstring problem.

Palmer's injury flared up while on international duty for England Under-21s earlier this month and Wagner said at Thursday's press conference that he could be out until January.

Midfielder Jonathan Hogg, defender Martin Cranie and striker Collin Quaner could all return to the squad.

Hogg (ankle) and Cranie (hip) have yet to feature for Town this season, while Quaner missed out at West Ham due to a knee injury.

Wagner has made no secret of his admiration for Leicester following their surprise Premier League title triumph two seasons ago.

The German drew parallels between the two clubs when his own side defied the odds to win promotion in May.

"I like the story of Leicester City and of Jamie Vardy," Wagner added. "This is a club you have to like, but this doesn't change anything on Saturday.

"Both fairytales are over. Now this is reality."
