EVERTON boss Ronald Koeman says that Seamus Coleman will be back in full training, and possibly back in action, before the end of 2017 as the Ireland captain steps up his recovery from a broken leg.

Coleman has been sidelined since that horrific injury while on World Cup duty with Ireland at home to Wales in March, and the player has been reluctant to set a date for his return.

But, speaking today, Koeman said that Coleman and the club's other long-term injury victim, Yannick Bolasie, are on course to feature by the end of this year.

"I think it will be November, instead of October," Koeman said today when asked if the pair could be available next month.

"They are both working hard, going in the right direction but it's long-term injuries. Seamus is out a long time, but they are doing well, going well on their schedule to come back but it's not up to me, we expect them back in full training in November."

Speaking in his native Killybegs last week, Coleman told the Donegal Democat: "The physios are a wee bit reluctant to put time on things because from one day to the next you never know. So far everything has been going upward".
