Shane Long was the only Ireland player to sit out training this morning but the Southampton striker expected to be available for selection for Friday's World Cup qualifier against Moldova.

Long missed the session as a precaution, as Ireland continue their preparation for their final two fixtures in Group D. First up is Moldova at the Aviva Stadium before Martin O'Neill's side travel to Cardiff to take on Wales next Monday, who will be without the injured Gareth Bale.

On the injury front for Ireland, Harry Arter trained with the squad today after missing Bournemouth's draw with Leicester last Saturday through injury.

Manchester United goalkeeper Kieran O'Hara - who is in Dublin with the U21 team - also trained with the senior squad today.
