'He is not up to it' - Kenny Cunningham suggests surprise replacement for Man United's Player of the Year

Kenny Cunningham offered a scathing assessment of Ander Herrera after Man United's UEFA Super Cup loss to Real Madrid, claiming that Jose Mourinho would be better off replacing the Spaniard in the centre of midfield.
Herrera's combative displays for Man United have made him a firm fan favourite, but Cunningham was unimpressed with his display during the 2-1 defeat to Real Madrid in Skopje last night.
Speaking on the RTE panel after the game, the former Ireland captain gave a cutting critique of Herrera's attributes.
"Herrera for me, he is not up to it," Cunningham said.
"He is not good enough. A good professional, a big heart."
Host Darragh Maloney then reminded Cunningham that Herrera won Player of the Year at Old Trafford last season, but he was unmoved.
"I don’t care. A big heart, decent player, a good squad player. They need better in there, they need more dynamic better quality player in that central midfield area."
Cunningham then surprised viewers further by suggesting that Jose Mourinho should 'break the bank' to sign Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who plays predominantly on the wing.
"Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has a year left on his contract at Arsenal, they should be breaking the bank to bring that type of player to the club," he said.
"That would improve them in that area of the pitch."
